Atomic Booking WAITLIST

COMPARISON

ATOMIC BOOKING vs
TIDYCAL.

TidyCal made its name selling lifetime access for $29 on AppSumo. It's a respectable basic scheduler with a great price. The trade-off is feature depth — TidyCal at $29 is closer to our free Particle tier than to anything paid. Our Quantum lifetime tier is £129, and the gap reflects what you get.

THE STRUCTURAL ARGUMENT

WHY THE PRICE DIFFERENCE EXISTS.

TidyCal is cheap because it's deliberately basic. That's a fair trade. Atomic Booking Quantum at £129 is more expensive, but the feature parity is with Calendly Pro, not with TidyCal. If TidyCal's feature set is enough for you, take the cheaper deal.

Payment method Fee on £100 Net to merchant
Stripe (most US schedulers) £3.10 £96.90
Mollie iDEAL / Bancontact £0.29 £99.71
Wero (via Mollie) £0.25–0.40 £99.65+
SEPA Direct Debit (GoCardless) 1% capped at £4 £99.00

That ~3% gap on every paid booking is the structural saving we pass on. Software margin doesn't depend on cutting features — it depends on cutting card-processor rent.

HONEST TAKE

When TidyCal is the better choice.

We're not the right answer for everyone. TidyCal is the better choice if:

  • You need basic scheduling and don't care about advanced features
  • You bought TidyCal on AppSumo years ago and the price is unbeatable
  • You don't take paid bookings — TidyCal works fine for free meetings
  • You don't need EU/UK data residency or EU payment rails

For everyone else — solo professionals, EU/UK teams, agencies, and anyone who's quietly uncomfortable with American SaaS — keep reading.
